I had better blog before midnight so that it's still my...

One whole year of not perpetuating the slaughter of innocents. Oh, I feel lovely.

And just to add; a year without cheeseburgers, I'd kill myself. You are completely crazy. :P

If I buy it, I am helping create the demand for it. If less people eat meat, there is less demand and consequently less killing.

Duh! ;)

Happy anniversary!!! You meatless wonder you!

You would think so, but th' meat YER not eatin' someone else is. Ain't nobody gonna get off meat 'cause, face it, tofu sucks.

No, because a person who would eat meat regardless of me wouldn't eat twice as much since I'm a vegetarian. So me not eating = less being eaten. Silly goose.

Thanks Andi :)

Equeeze me, have you SEEN how many burgers I can eat? :P

Oooh, and howabout this: based on yer own logic, all the meat you vegetarians don't eat gets left behind in cases to where they spoil and need to be thrown out. So instead of those animals dying fer a purpose, yer just lettin' their carcasses be thrown out like common trash.

HA! Top that!

Oy vay! What do you not understand about supply and demand? If there is less demand, sure, some meat might get wasted, but the stores will not purchase as much next time because they'll lose money.

And anyway, I don't want to sound like a preacher of vegetarianism. I don't go around telling friends and family they shouldn't eat meat. I just feel entitled to being happy about my anniversary, that's all :)

But what's an anniversary without a debate? ;-)
